2018
In this collection, I depicted my inner confusion and anxiety surrounded by a chaotic world. Everything seemed crowded, ugly, and disorganized, leaving me in search of a sanctuary.
Among the chaos, the presence of deer, symbols of peace, passed by restlessly, their significance both felt and unfelt. The direction of the plane, the transporter of people, remained ambiguous—was it falling or flying, its destination unknown? Nature, frozen in time, held a heavy presence, indifferent to our human concerns. Nature, an ever-forceful presence in my paintings, shows no mercy; it continues its relentless march, unconcerned with our emotions or needs. While we try to achieve a brief respite, nature moves on, very hard and continues all the time without stopping.
